Set off on an excursion to discover the Gardens of Seine-et-Marne

Spend a day exploring the wonderful gardens of Seine-et-Marne by visiting those of the Castle of Fontainebleau and the Antoine Bourdelle Museum.

10am: Guided tour of the Fontainebleau castle gardens
You will discover a 130-hectare pocket of vegetation where you can see the development of the French or English gardens. Parks and paths offer you different views and majestic perspectives such as that created by André Le Nôtre between the carp pond and the canal.

12pm: Lunch in a restaurant in Fontainebleau

You will enjoy this gastronomic stop in the magnificent 17th century cellars.

3pm: Guided tour of the Antoine Bourdelle Garden-Museum, student of Rodin
Your path will lead you into the heart of the 7000m² of the Antoine Bourdelle d’Egreville garden-museum, managed by Michel Dufet and his wife Rhodia, daughter of the sculptor. In the organised and complex gardens of lawns and flowerbeds, you can admire 56 original bronze sculptures by Antoine Bourdelle, of which the majority were made especially for this setting.

5pm: End of the programme.

Option: (all year except Mondays): Afternoon, guided tour of the Musée Départemental Stéphane Mallarmé: Discover the intimate life of the poet by visiting his residence (consult us).

- a guided tour of the Fontainebleau castle gardens,
